The nightclub Park Lane is one of Gothenburg's most classic nightclubs. Over the years, the club has been visited by all sorts of celebrities; The King, Håkan Hellström, and Bill Gates, to name a few.
Background
Through a guest app, Park Lane wanted to create a new marketing channel and streamline the administration of its guest list. In order to be able to easily handle the guest list, an internal app was also requested for the use of the entrance manager and other staff. The project was carried out in collaboration with QueensLab, which were responsible for project management and design.
Our solution
A complete app and guest system, developed to suit the nightclub's needs. The solution consisted of three distinct parts; an app for nightclub guests, an app for entrance manager and other staff, as well as an internal web solution for efficient administration.
In the guest app, upcoming events are promoted and the guest can request to book a drink table and apply for a guest list for the events. The staff can then approve or reject the application to control the guest flow for the event.
The apps were developed in the hybrid technology React Native for both iOS and Android. The guest system was built with the Laravel framework and also integrated with OneSignal to send out push notifications to specific age and gender segments.
The results
Since its launch in 2019, the app has been used extensively by nightclub visitors and has the highest rating of all nightclub apps in Gothenburg.
